Where is my position?

Thanks for all of you, I became as an Expression MVP from this month.

However, I never play with Expression Blend, Encorder, Design or whatever.... besides Expression Web.
Because it is expensive, and I think that is just for Web developers.
When I say while fearing it, I feel that Expression Studio is not for web designers...

To be honest, they are too professional for me, so it is very hard to understand.

Well.. I am not a IT professional nor a developer, but I am just a consumer.

That's why I may be feeling like that way.

I used to be a FrontPage MVP, but now, I don't use FrontPage any more.

There are a lot of FrontPage users in Japan who don't understand HTML or CSS.
They are using FrontPage like Microsoft Word, I think.

I know that Microsoft will support the FrontPage users up to June 2008, but what will be going on the next..?
In the community, there are two types of the people, "Professionals with high skills" and "Super beginners", but no intermediate level.

Because the mechanism that the person is educated doesn't exist, the beginner is a beginner forever.
That's the problem.

Online Technical Communities - Japan VS other countries

In Japan, newsgroup is not popular. Forums are much popular than newsgroups.
But, seems like... in other countries, they love to use newsgroups.

Well... actually there are a lot of questions in "forums", so it's troublesome for answering for them.
But, in Japan, some people cannot use newsgroup because nntp not available at their offices, but forums are okay.
I am not sure the details but I've heard about it :)

Which one do I like?
If I want to contact with people in other countries, I use newsgroup.
but I am busy to maintain my website, because there are several forum BBS, so I don't join the other online communities.

sometimes I get so tired.
They never do their effort but just ask like"I am a beginner! so please tell me very attentively"
and ask the same question again and again and again....

Editing Movable Type webpage template by Expression Web?

I don't use Dreamweaver, never using for Movable Type, so I am not sure about the details, but one Expression Web user who used to use Dreamweaver posted to the Expression Web community that I owned.

I hear "Design Time Stylesheet" feature is in Dreamweaver?

I posted to the Microsoft Connect, the feedback for Expression Web current version 1.0.

Nominated as the Microsoft MVP award - for the April Awardees

It's time to send the information for being nominated as the Microsoft MVP award.
I got the email from JP MVP lead about it yesterday, and I've already sent it last night first of all.

I guess FrontPage users are more than Expression Web users.
Actually, one FP user found my website, and posted to the blog about "I found the tutorial site, so I am going to start learning FrontPage 2003 from now".

I cannot ignore them.

My Expression Web tutorial site is listed on the top of the Google search.
(keyword - "expression web" "使い方(how to use)" --> here)
the information written in Japanese is very limited, so people visit my website :-)

Even though I've finished writing more than 3.

Speaking of the online articles of Expression Web for developers, the concept has been changed, so I rewrite that.
Maybe it will be opened to the public tomorrow...

The titles?are translated into English by myself.

Issue of Insert > files in Japanese Expression Web

I've submitted to Microsoft Connect site before, but we cannot?see that because of the transition from Expression Web Connect site to Expression.
Feedback ID is 286006 (I think MSFT knows)
The previous bug reports remain active in?Microsoft internal database.

There are some Word documents that font-family set as "MS Gothic" in Japanese --"MS ゴシック"
then if I select from [Insert] menu and click [Files], then select the Word document and click [Open],

The font face attribute was scrambled...

sometimes inserted Ideographic space (u3000) in Expression Web

If the PC is installed Japanese IME, sometimes inserted idiographic space (u3000) between the tags in code view, if you create lists in Expression Web. The issue is not only the Japanese version, but the English version.

<LI><A href="services/consulting/essay.htm">エッセー</A>

Because of the idiographic space in the list, the layout gets broken.
It is okay for Internet Explorer, but not for Firefox.
